Hackney Council granted planning permission for a new mews house behind the Grade II listed former Pie and Mash shop at Broadway Market, now home to the spectacle maker Cubitts. Alongside the high specification mews house, Solmaz carried out works to the front facade of the listed building, safeguarding its existing features, including the preserved 1930s interior with original signage, marble tables and terrazzo floor.
