Solmaz completed the design and build of Café Destino on Platform 4 at Basingstoke Railway Station. Solmaz first refurbished this unit and built the public toilet in 2006, the start of the Café Destino coffee shops, and was appointed again to redesign and renovate the space for a more modern, contemporary feel. Sustainable natural materials such as solid beechwood were set against contrasting materials and colours, with bespoke joinery and a considered interior to complete the café.
