Before you start a refurbishment
Can I stay in the property during the work?
Often, yes. We seal off work areas, keep dust down and stage the job so essential rooms stay usable. For heavier work a short move out can be simpler, and we will be honest about which makes sense.
How disruptive is a full renovation?
Less than most expect when it is planned properly. A property renovation run in the right order, with protection in place and one team on site, keeps the mess and the noise contained.
Do you cover kitchens and bathrooms end to end?
We do, including the parts you do not see. Plumbing, electrics, waterproofing and tiling are done properly behind the units, not just the surface finish.
How do you price a refurbishment?
After a survey we give an itemised quotation. Because older buildings can surprise you once opened up, we set out likely unknowns early and agree any extra work in writing first.
How long will it take?
A single room might be a couple of weeks, a full flat or house several months. We give a programme with the quote and keep you posted against it.
Do you help with layout ideas?
Yes. Many clients want a space to work differently, not just look newer. We suggest sensible layout changes and, where walls are involved, arrange the structural side.
