At Gloucester Walk, Solmaz added a lower ground floor infill and extension with a terraced roof above, and a new external stair down to the garden. The team rebuilt and extended the upper floors of the rear extension, gutted the basement and constructed a new ground slab, partitions, linings and staircase, then fitted out the space with finishes and fixtures. The existing upper floors were refurbished, three bathrooms installed and a new third floor added, with a staircase enclosure to meet building regulations.
