Solmaz constructed Thomas Heatherwick’s London studio, taking the space from shell condition through to a completed home for the practice. The fit-out included a soundproofed workshop with glazed partitions, two offices, two meeting rooms, a kitchen, three WCs and a shower. An accessible front entrance and a fire exit door were also incorporated, giving the studio a layout arranged for both focused making and day to day practice.
