Solmaz Limited was founded in London in 2003. We design, build, restore and fit out residential and commercial buildings across London and the South-East, working with developers, landlords, architects and private clients.

The business has two sides that work as one. Our construction and development team delivers projects ranging from new-build homes and refurbishments to restaurants, showrooms and offices, including work on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings. Our joinery and carpentry team designs and makes bespoke pieces in our own North London workshop, both for our projects and for direct commissions.

Much of our work comes through architects and designers. We're used to taking a drawing and carrying it through to a finished building or piece of furniture or fixture, resolving details on site while keeping the original intent.

Our directors stay involved in every project from start to finish. Semih Aslan, from an engineering background, personally oversees quality, programme and workmanship on site. Faruk Tepeyurt, with experience in construction law and contract administration, manages contractual, commercial and compliance matters throughout.

Our projects have been recognised with a RIBA award, a Wood Award for joinery and other industry honours. We hold CHAS and Constructionline accreditations.

We're approved contractors at ExCeL London and Westfield White City, and have been approved by Network Rail to carry out fit-out works within operational stations, including Basingstoke and Winchester.
