Following the success of Café Destino at Basingstoke Railway Station, Solmaz was asked to design and build its second branch at Winchester Railway Station. Working within a fully operational station brought its own challenges, requiring careful sequencing and coordination throughout. Our design team also worked closely with the client to strengthen the branch’s brand identity as part of the fit-out. Built around a bespoke serving counter, integrated display shelving and compact back-of-house facilities, the finished café is practical, well-detailed and consistent with the quality of the original.
