This project combined a new extension with the refurbishment of a Victorian house. A basement excavation and rear garden extension roughly doubled the size of the home and gave direct access from the front through to the living area and garden. Alongside the new basement and extensions, Solmaz installed underfloor heating and built a new roof to increase usable space, refurbished the house throughout and improved the garden landscaping. Roof lights and windows bring a good deal of natural light into the property.
